after palace ? i thought we was talking about before he signed for palace. read it again. any way its different to a host of epl clubs and the likes of athletico madrid chasing you as opposed to 1 italian club playing in a 2 bob league

compared to todays premier league, absolutely. And dont forget with todays fitness levels and diets etc 30 back then is like 33 today which puts an even bigger gap between him and cabaye in terms of being in your prime. anyway all said and done they are both great signings, if in fact he does sign !!!

Even if Spurs are after him, I can't see him joining anyone else but us now. Given that he knows Pardew well; and needs regular game time ahead of the Euros next year.
