Todays first download is a bootleg that was recorded at the Royal Albert Hall, London on the 18th October 2013. This was a tribute show in memory of Jon Brookes, drummer with The Charlatans who died from a brain tumour in 2010. The Charlatans were joined by a host of stars who all gave their time for this cause - the Brain Tumour Charity. The quality is superb, as is the show... Liam Gallagher appears onstage with former Oasis guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs for the first time in 14 years... This is a wicked boot with some great musicians and tracks.... thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is another set by Steely Dan following on from the one I posted yesterday. This is an audience recorded show and I rarely post audience recorded shows as the quality is usually crap. This is one of the few exceptions - the sound quality of this is absolutely amazing for an audience recorded bootleg - I've heard many soundboards that are not as good as this... it's a cracking show as well - and recent!!... A great setlist on this one with some real classics being played "Your Gold Teeth" "Reelin' In The Years" and "Kid Charlemagne" all being played...
