I admit it is very low at the moment, but it's a price worth paying.
At least we will be shot of those imperialist euro fanatics.

Really? The bank rate has been below 1.1450 for more than a month. Retail exchange rate will be below 1.12.

You must know a REALLY good foreign exchange source or maybe you are the liar here?

Give up and face reality. Malta does act like a tax haven and you should read up on how QE works.

Yep, you have Newhaven and we have Taxhaven. Loving it, making a mint, have done for years. Fantastuic life, luxury, boats, fast cars, fancy restaurants, everything in fact. That's why I love the EU, love it

Hows the take away curry tonight? Did you splash out on a naan tonight? Keema? Go on, treat yourself, it's Saturday night!

Haha, now with personal insults. You've been shown to be totally wrong on your claim of getting 1.20 Euro/GBP

Here it is again, from May, the bank rate was no higher than 1.1650/GBP:

Tourist exchange rates are no where near the bank rate, always lower, so how did you get 1.2/GBP in June?

This is hilarious, it's getting boring proving nonsense claims from people like yoursef wrong every time.

oh, by the way, using profanities just makes you look even more dumb than you are coming across.

You complain about how you think other people look.....And you post that?

What do you that this makes you look like?

If you are doing well, then good for you.....It makes no difference to what you are as a person.

You just come across to me as a bit of a berk.

Well, no, you quoted 1.2 in your original post (above) and called others liars.

Keep up the personal insults, it's making the hole you're digging get deeper and deeper. Here we don't go for pints, they're for miserable cheap Britis expats who can't afford anything else due to Sterling being in the toilet, we drink cocktails/champagne, matt_himself knows this, er....himself apparently

0.88 is the reciprocal. In other words it is the amount of sterling you would get for 1 euro as opposed to 1.14 which is the amount of euro to 1 pound.

I dont think you understand.......
