If you do get it, don't necessarily know you have and pass it on to tonnes of other people resulting in deaths is that still okay too, on account that you're personally fine? Point being it goes a bit beyond me me me. 'If' it turns out that the vaccine prevents it in most 'and' stops them passing it on that is a very pertinent factor to consider also. If the others you’re around are vaccinated then....? If they aren’t then it’s their choice? The vaccines have 90-95% efficacy, don’t they???? Or do they? (I know your anti big pharma)

Getting in a car is potentially deadly....yet you have two of them. People have had infectious diseases in this country for thousands of years without state imposed controls on their liberties.....this isn't the black death. The day you bourgeoisie bolsheviks actually have to suffer for your moralising is the day I might take you seriously. Edited by Stirlingsays (23 Nov 2020 8.43am)

If people don't want to be vaccinated it's their choice, if they get the virus or pass it on it will probably be to other like minded people. They will only be hurting themselves I'm fine with that it's their choice.

Edited by Stirlingsays (23 Nov 2020 8.43am) You've used the deeply flawed car analogy before - car accidents aren't contagious. If you want to use the car analogy then not getting vaccinated is the equivalent of dangerous driving - you're putting yourself in harms way but you're also in danger of harming others. The day you consider anyone else in the world that's not you will be a nice one. Edited by DanH (23 Nov 2020 10.00am)

It will (quite rightly) be rolled out in order of risk and priority so if you're not in the high risk category you probably won't be towards the front anyway. I understand people that have concerns; it's those with the staggering arrogance to think that they know better than the entire global medical/scientific community and flat out refuse to have one that I find absolutely mental.

No medication is 100% safe so each person must make a decision which is the greater risk the illness or the treatment. I will be happy to get vaccinated when it is my turn I am low risk so I guess I will be towards the back of the queue.

Edited by Mapletree (23 Nov 2020 10.57am) I’ve no experience of this and you might be right in cases of families but I know a house of 3 generations that currently all have it with loss of taste and smell but not much more. They’re also very tired. They have an old gran in the house so it is a concern but they’re quite calm about it all apparently.
