The US wasn’t mentioned but as you have it means if this had happened there he would also not be an immigrant. Something I suspect would be more readily accepted in the US than here. India? Simon Webb 'History Debunked' has discussed how their large religious congregations need bouncers. Because a fisticuffs often happens among the faithful. Sober crowd violence, which is perhaps a new phenomenon to the UK. Not exactly like Songs of Praise at Canterbury. Which mentioned 3 British citizens who were born in India before 1950, which is when the law changed. It was not about the suspect’s own status.

The accused is not an immigrant. Which the rioters, their influencers, and some here too, seem to believe. The rest of your comment reinforces the point. Criminals can be born anywhere, and those from other countries can be responsible citizens. We need to address crime, not communities.
