It’s not the same at all. Olise is a contracted player unfortunate to pick up a nasty injury. Wilf is a free agent through his own choosing. If he’s still injured from last season, as we have reason to believe, he’s fortunate that Palace are willing to help him. If he’s not injured, then he’s putting himself in a situation whereby it doesn’t matter who he ultimately signs for, he’s excluded himself from pre season preparations

It’s possible to draw parallels between Wilf at Palace and Le Tissier at Southampton. I like Wilf and he’s made a terrific contribution to the club over a long period.

That’s a brilliant comparison actually, I’ve never really thought about it, but you’re spot on. Both brilliant at times, but you’re also correct with the ‘flaws’ part, as in being a bit temperamental and drifting out of games for long periods, sometimes appearing lazy.

*knock knock* "Ah Wilf come in, please take a seat. I presume that you have come to put pen to paper to seal what we had agreed verbally in our previous meeting. It will be good get this business done with and formally announced to the world as there are some peculiar rumours starting to go round. Congratulations on your marriage by the way. Now, where did I put my pen? Are here we go, just sign on the dotted line please."

Many are fed up to the back teeth with his on going indecision. Clearly,a mercenary seeking out the best offer and yet seemingly, keeping the Club in the dark which may prevent other signings until he finally, after many years, makes a definitive decision as regards signing any new contract supposedly on offer. Time for the Club to move on and plan replacement signings on the basis that he has left the Club and will not be returning anytime soon.We need to make his mind up for him.

This whole saga has become boring... he’s no longer under contract we should move on... let him go to Fenerbahce or Lazio or wherever..let’s move on... he’s obviously not going to be fit for the start of the season anyway....

This is a distraction….tell him the offer is good for 24 hours then it’s over.

Unless you've spoken to Zaha or Parish personally, wind ya neck in. It's all baseless speculation like everything else. The only thing that's clear is that no-one on here knows anything of value.

A thought (maybe not a good one but) If Zaha is still injured (and I don't know if that is the case but if he is) then why would anyone be looking to sign him until he is fit again. Furthermore, if he is still injured, just how serious is injury?
