Yes it was and that was the point. Some people on here have almost been in meltdown.

I'll try to remain eminently sensible in al future posts.

Did hear a similar thing from someone close to a prominent figure at the Club but more orientated towards him joining Chelsea once Willian goes.

Quite right. His money to spend as he sees fit and fair play to him. Flaunting it ostentatiously on social media, however, just seems a little vulgar, that's all.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I don’t disagree. But I just think that the vulgarity is part of the charm.

I find it quite daft to compare a footballer with a supporter; it seems a bit like comparing a rapper with someone who buys the CD. There just is not, and should not be any comparison.

Assuming he stays antihero season, shouldn’t we be trying to inflate his worth as much as possible prior to his undoubted sale.

If he was on pens then this would add to his stats and inflate his price further...

Obviously Luka is the main man on pens, but surely Wilf can knock them in too. So wouldn’t it be worth letting him take them this year.

If he stays fit he could score a plenty this season, throw in pens as well and we could be selling a 25 goal striker with skills to boot...

If being stupid was the criteria for removal there'd be about 15 posts left on the boards.

In that it means he's still our player I'd say yes it is.

Thank you for saying that, Seth. I thought of responding with a similar comment, but I didn't want to poke the bear.

Is that a ‘The Revenant’ reference?
