However the most notable aspect about Trump is seeing in just how much hatred he stirs within those I hardly ever agree with. Yours and others inability to be objective over Trump marks you out as just as bad as the Republican tea party was. Just like they were with Obama, seemingly with every comment it's comparing Trump with the worse things they can think of. I thought the malice toward Obama for being a Black man was sometimes astonishing but the vitriol toward Trump is on another level.

I'm not astonished, the man is an incoherent c**t who's deliberately alienated the media (fake news), engaged in cronyism, deals entirely in self propaganda, deceit and is incapable of tact - who's own staff seem to regularly undermine his presidency with leaks. He wasn't likable on his own TV show (in which he was the ruthless, w***er boss). Its a bit like complaining that the press on Ted Bundy is very one sided.

Trump is what we deserve when we are complicit in accepting agendas that don't serve the majority. He is the ghost of Christmas dumb.

Ironically, I really am enjoying the Trump Presidency, but yeah. I'd pretty much agree, its what happens when the choice is between someone who doesn't serve the agenda of the majority, and someone who deceives they represents the agenda of the majority. Ironically, you had a candidate who represented interests of capital and big business, and a candidate who pretended they wouldn't. The irony is that Trump isn't the problem, he's the symptom of a system that is inherently biased towards the interests not of voters, but wealth and the wealthy.

His policies on tax and health care are objectively inefficient, inequitable and downright cruel. He's a liar and a hypocrite.

The USA unemployment rate is at is lowest level since the year 2000. The fall in unemployment may have started under previous administration but it's continued to fall under Trump. Now ask yourself, if you had a family to feed and where on the breadline, what would you care more about:
1) Obama put together the longest unbroken streak of private sector job growth in American history - dropping unemployment from over 10% to under 5% in the process; 2) Job growth (and GDP growth) has slowed under Trump, despite his claims to the contrary ("biggest ever!") 3) With a booming stock market, solid job growth, low unemployment, low interest rates, low inflation etc. etc., why would the sitting President be so deeply unpopular? Each new poll has his approval ratings dropping deeper into the 30s while, more alarmingly for him, his disapproval ratings are soaring into the 60s. Trump won Alabama last year by a margin of +28%. While not on the ballot this year, exit polls asked for approval / disapproval of Trump's performance, and the result was 48% approve, 49% disapprove. In a year he went from +28% to -1%...in deep red Alabama! Edited by Ray in Houston (13 Dec 2017 6.20pm)
