Cameron is a decent man?! Was he decent when Israel was bombing the s*** out of Gaza's children, and he refused to condem it? Is he decent for slicing up the NHS? Is he decent for taking benefits away from the desperate people that need them? I see no compassion or human decency in him whatsoever.

Laugh at me all you like, but I can see Corbyn riding this ridiculous wave of filth in the press and becoming the next Prime Minister, despite what all the supposed experts say.

Why would he condemn a retaliatory strike by Israel?... all the Palestinians had to do was stop firing rockets at Israel to avoid their children dying... they weren't specifically not targeting children in Israel were they?

You talk like the fight between the Palestinians and Israel was/is an equal, two-sided affair. Israel has the military capabilities of the West behind it and is chocking the people of Gaza into submission. It's prolonged ethnic cleansing.

It isn't fair I agree.... the Israelis want to live in peace, but their homes are continually bombarded with rockets. The Israelis do not bomb Gaza without reason.

When a fly buzzes round my head I tend to swat it.

Then why do they continue to commit war crimes through illegal settlements in another country's land? Why do they so savagely criticise America's deal with Iran which was made specifically to diffuse tension in the region? Why does the Israeli foreign minister call for beheading Arabs and sending Palestine back to the stone age? Why have they bombed children playing on a beach?

There are plenty of sources. Take your pick.

Of course, like Cameron and IDS (who claimed last year that these statistics didn't exist) you can manipulate the report to back-up your "odd cock-up".

Lots of links! Are you Gusset in disguise?

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

Is he decent for slicing up the NHS? Is he decent for taking benefits away from the desperate people that need them?

This is emotive hogwash and claptrap to boot.

Regards welfare, spending has to be put on a sustainable footing. Britain is home to 1 per cent of the world’s population, generates 4 per cent of the world’s economy,; and yet pays out 7 per cent of all the welfare spending.

What about the introduction of a new National Living wage ? And the support for working people with lower taxes, with people being able to earn £11,000 (From next year) before they have to pay tax ?
I could go on and on and probably bore all and sundry !

We simply HAVE to move from a low wage, high tax, high welfare economy to a higher wage, lower tax and a lower welfare society. At the end of the day a strong economy is needed in Britain's interests and we cannot progress as a country if the economy is weak.

What would your solution be for people that can't work, because of a genuine physical or mental disability, but have been declared fit to? Just let them die (like the thousands that already have)?

Where is your evidence that genuine physically and mentally disabled people incapable of work are being declared fit to work?

There may be the odd cock-up, but there is no en-masse round up of these people to force them into labour.

The purpose of welfare reform is to get the scroungers and benefit cheats dealt with. The genuinely needy cases will continue to receive benefits.

You are just scaremongering.

Ermm, have you not been reading the news at all mate?

[Link]

Hardly 'the odd case here and there'.

Headline says Thousands.... First line says 90 per month.

Each case has been investigated thoroughly and the causal link to death was the fact that they were forced to go to work which killed them was it? Very unlikely.

I don't work... I have Parkinson's disease... I don't claim benefits either.

However if I did and I was assessed for work, there is no way I would allow the assessor to come to a conclusion I was fit for work.

Assessments can be subjective, but GENUINE cases where people are unable to work physically or mentally are not being forced into labour.

The blockade is there to prevent the Palestinians getting their hands on more rockets or worse.. more powerful weapons.

All they have to do is sign up to a peaceful settlement and the blockade will be lifted.

That doesn't explain away similar actions by the Israeli Government towards the Palestinian people in The West Bank though. Nor the hundreds of other state crimes committed before Hamas even existed. Collectively punishing a people for the deeds of a minority is always done by sh1theads.

You comment only on their supposed failings, but ever since Israel was formed, the Jewish people have been under siege from the surrounding Arab nations.

They do want to live in peace, but they are not allowed to.

As for bombing children on beaches, that is collateral damage. You have no idea whether children of Israel have been hit by the rockets launched.

Let's not kid ourselves Hoof: the only reason that blockade is there is to totally debilitate Palestine and make their lives a misery. Houses bombed over a year ago are still yet to be rebuilt because construction material isn't allowed into Gaza, and one of the most impoverished areas in the world have little access to medicine because of this ridiculous blockade. Surely it's possible to find a way of allowing regular supplies in to Gaza and ensuring weapons aren't being smuggled in, this is the 21st century for Christ's sake.

I don't recall "Labour" in the General Election highlighting "Tory caused mass deaths".Uhm !!!!

One can use statistics to one's own advantage to paint an emotive picture.Drilling down further often produces a totally different picture as the erudite "Hoof Hearted" has illustrated. The notion that Conservative led policies force thousands of unfit people back into the workplace causing mass deaths is totally over the top.But hey ho it makers for a good headline !

Finally, well done "Hoof Hearted" - excellent riposte.

Sorry, Hoof...

"More than a third of people with degenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis are having their benefits slashed because the Department for Work and Pensions deems they will recover enough to look for work.

Thousands of those with diseases that only worsen with time - and who have become too ill to work - are being denied full Employment Support Allowance. Instead they are assessed as suitable for work-related activity which is designed for people likely to recover to the point where they can seek employment.

People in The Work-Related Activity Group receive less money and the threat of sanctions if they do not attend regular sessions. Many also have this benefit removed after a year as an added “incentive” to find employment.

Steve Ford, Chief Executive at Parkinson’s UK, said: “These latest figures are an utter disgrace and serve to underline just how little the Government cares for those with progressive conditions like Parkinson’s. To set up a system which tells people who’ve had to give up work because of a debilitating, progressive condition that they’ll recover, is humiliating and nothing short of a farce."

Wow. You really come out with some corkers Hoof, fancy telling that to their family? And as a matter of fact I do know if kids have been hit by Palestinian rockets. During the last round of fighting, 5 Israeli civilians died, including one child, compared to over 2000 Palestinians, in a nation where the average age is 17. You do the maths.

It is the 21st Century, but the Arabs avowed intent is to kill all non believers especially the jews, so I doubt much progress will be made on a common sense front.

I try not to blame children for terrorist activities. Be good if the Israeli government could do the same don't you? Bulldozing their houses because of guilt by association, snipers firing at them when they are playing, mortars with thousands of pieces of shrapnel going off in crowded family areas.

All very justifiable I am sure by some right-wing religious zealots and bigots but not by those rational mind.
