Considering cutting jobs? Yeah, Tescos are really going to leave the country aren't they Nick..... As opposed to record investment since 2005 into the country. The UK remains the top foreign direct investment destination in Europe.

Yep, that's called market cannabilisation. People who shop at new branches of an existing supermarket chain stop shopping at a competitors chain. Aldi don't care as long as they increase their market share to the detriment of other retailers. Edited by europalace (14 Jul 2017 1.53am)

Consumers get the choice of which supermarket they want to patronise - usually the one that provides the best balance of quality, price and service (my choice is Sainsburys). Compare this with the empty shelves on the state run supermarkets of the old Eastern Block.
We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |

I think it was the 'Daily Remainer'.....Good laugh that was watching their guy shifting around denying it. I reckon we could call you the 'Daily Remoaner' Nick. In your mind when you become more in debt every day you are still actually re-paying it regardless of how much it is actually increasing.

The UK has conceded for the first time that it will continue its commitment to any financial obligations to the European Union after it leaves the single market. In a written statement by Brexit secretary David Davis, said the government ‘recognised’ its obligations to the single market “that will survive the UK’s withdrawal”. Only a day after 'whistle for it'.
