They will criticise the conservatives and Trump, have half the programme dedicated to BAME people and how they are victims, then a portion calling for more restrictions. Actually it wasn’t bad. There was eerie music but not for any sceptics, because there weren’t any on. I think it was used for big things that shouldn’t have gone on. Cheltenham and Atletico Madrid at Liverpool. (I remember driving and not going on public transport to the last Palace home match. Several bunches of empty seats around. Strange day) There was one black ‘BAME’ person. Very sad actually. A black African nurse in Luton who was pregnant with their second child. She died with the birth of their daughter. Her kidneys failed because of Covid. I can’t remember their surname but 2 brothers played in the same match in the World Cup a decade ago maybe. Name is on the top of my tongue. Different countries wasn’t it? Boateng. That was it. It was all on the data and the government acting on the data or not getting any. Too much use of modellers rather than science or experience in the right areas of science. There were clearly mistakes. Matt Hancock lying there was a ‘protective ring around care homes’ among several others. I do agree that the death numbers would’ve been reduced if they locked down earlier, but I don’t think as much as they believe. Look at Spain. But it looks as though there was some making it up as they go along, just as there is now. Behavioural fatigue’ being one. Apparently it was never raised by SPI-M I think and never mentioned by government to SPI-M. And this wasn’t mentioned but when they released the ‘STAY AT HOME. SAVE THE NHS’ it scared the public and got as much compliance as you could have hoped for. Why were the government bothered about 2 weeks of ‘behavioural fatigue’ over a lockdown that lasted for months and months when they bankrolled nearly everyone? It’s now that fatigue is an issue, 9 months later. Interesting seeing Neil Ferguson talking outside Downing Street ‘’That we will have to live with Coronavirus for this year and all of next year as well until we get a vaccine.’’ Well he’s probably got something right in the last 20 No I’m not now suddenly pro lockdown or anti-tory or anything but there’s been clearly a lot of complacency and lack of measures taken, if that’s what we’re to commit to, to ‘save the nhs’, which I was in agreement with. I still think that after that curve was down near the bottom the lockdown should’ve ended. It seems the virus is weaker when spreading around in the summer here anyway, yet we stayed locked down then in summer, opened up towards the end of summer and lock down again now. I’ve seen Rishi Sunak let slip that Covid is seasonal. If they can get him out as chancellor before things get really bad I could have Sunak making decisions as PM. Sadly he’ll probably be ruined because of the economic consequences. Edited by Rudi Hedman (19 Nov 2020 11.03pm)

It has to be managed centrally through taxation. Charities can help administer the delivery through volunteers. My will is written and will remain private but you can be sure that it makes many bequests. However, the time for action is now.

A Danish study out this week has found in their research that face coverings don’t make a difference. But for balance I’ve posted this article from the lead researcher saying you should still wear a mask, so you work it out. Important to note that this study focuses on the wearer or non wearers contracting Covid and not others. This was my concern. That you’re protecting others but infecting yourself, and is what I think has been happening looking at countries making face coverings compulsory and seeing numbers rise. I’m not as bothered by this as much now. Those who want this will have to deal with the consequences, or not. A pity that life is going to damaged for a long time. Face coverings by The (now left wing) Independent ‘Jake Dunning, head of emerging infections and zoonoses [infectious disease spread between humans and animals] at Public Health England, told The Independent there was “very little evidence of a widespread benefit” from wearing them. “Face masks must be worn correctly, changed frequently, removed properly, disposed of safely and used in combination with good universal hygiene behaviour in order for them to be effective,” he added.‘ Yep.

You mean all these cops arresting people...sometimes physically assaulting them for walking around without a mask was a massive over-reaction? Not withstanding an infringement upon their liberties. God no....shock horror....blow me over...wearing a mask obviously.....otherwise I'll shop you to lackey Plod because I'm saving your granny. Will no one think of the virtue signallers!!!
