Todays extra download is an album in memory of Lou Reed who died a couple of days ago. This is Rock 'N' Roll Animal - a live album that has one of the best openings for a live album - the Intro into "Sweet Jane" is the mutts... one of my all time faves. I saw Lou at the all day gig at The Valley in 1974 - he appeared all in yellow - hair, clothes, guitar, sunglasses, boots - everything. He put on a really great set.... a really good show.... thanks for the memories Lou... An addition to todays extra download with another show by Lou Reed that was mainly reorded at the Palace Theatre, Dayton, Ohio on the 27th October 1974 - it also has some tracks from a New York show and a patch from a show in Chalmette LA. This is a great sounding show - really top notch with a top setlist. This will be the last tribute bootleg for Lou Reed so grab this one now.... Todays first download is a set by Tori Amos that was recorded in Las Vegas, Nevada on the 24th September 1999. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a dvd audio rip from a TV broadcast. According to my files this is only the second bootleg by Tori that I've posted - I've also posted a studio album as well. I will be posting another bootleg by her in the coming couple of weeks. She performs her biggest hit "Cornflake Girl" on this one - but on the track "The Waitress" she tells a heckler in the audience to "Eat My Pussy" (about 6mins 40seconds) and carries on without missing a beat. If you like Tori Amos - then grab this one.... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by The Black Crowes that was recorded in Cologne, Germany on the 3rd February 1995. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've not posted much by TBC over the years - good quality shows are quite rare. This is a good one and if you like The Black Crowes one that you will want. This is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by the Manic Street Preachers that was recorded at the BBC Maida Vale Studios in London on the 17th October 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. Also included are a few bonus tracks from the Jools Holland show Later.... with Jools Holland as well as a short acoustic in demand session. I've posted lots of Manics stuff in the past but none for a while - so if you like the Manic Street Preachers - this is thoroughly recommended... I was asked for a Cat Stevens album via PM yesterday - while searching I found Cat's whole discograpby on a link list... The list is still active and the following Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) albums are available.... Bitrates vary - most have artwork included. This is a great link - I hope it stays active for a while..... Apologies for the caps.....

Todays first download is a set by Earth, Wind & Fire that was recorded in Japan while the band were on the "Touch The World Tour" of 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a dvd/soundboard audio rip and sounds absolutely fantastic... crystal clear sound and its wicked!. Good quality EWF boots are very rare and this is a good one - real good. A top setlist as well.. the only thing is that this file is in two long mp3 files and not seperate tracks..... but its a wicked show... and if you like EWF then you will want this one... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by former Led Zeppelin front man Robert Plant that was recorded in Osaka, Japan on the 20th February 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is a wicked set but unfortunately RP doesn't play anything from his LZ days and instead plays songs from his second solo album "The Principal Of Moments" the album he was promoting on this tour. If you like RP and his blues/rock voice... the grab this show... it rocks... Todays extra download is a set by The Stray Cats that was recorded at the Hootenanny Festival, Fullarton, California on the 5th July 2003. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds absolutely crystal. I've not posted many bootlegs by TSC over the years as good quality shows are rare. This is one of the best available anywhere on the web - and it has one of the best setlisting as well. The band play the classics "Stray Cat Strut" "I Fought The Law" and "Runaway Boys" on this one, which if you like The Stray Cats is definitely one for the collection...
