It is reliable.
The PCR test continues to provide the data needed to justify keeping the population locked down and under consistent fear.
However, it does not and never has been designed to record infections.
We are simply under an illusion.

It isn't though used to justify lockdowns.

A plethora of data is, the most important of which is the trend of stress the NHS is and forecasted to come. under.

Yes, but he knows he’s had it and this test told him he hasn’t got it again.

Seems to be the strength of it and at least it looks like being when we have a vaccine rather than if we ever get one.
Good news as well that the Moderna vaccine doesn’t seem to need the same cold storage as that would make it more available worldwide.

94% Effective for something that doesn't kill 99% of us.
The haven't found a cure in years for certain cancers or HIV or Malaria but have miraculously done this in 10/12 weeks?
This is me being cynical more than anything else.
Oh & unless someone puts a gun against my head I'll be refraining from using.

Sensible? Not a word I associate with these attitudes. Inhuman seems rather more apposite.

The approach that you and others favour seems to me to desire the sacrifice of our humanity on the altar of the great God of money.

The majority of us can live well on less, and have enough left to share with those who can't, so that they can survive too.

That's what a modern compassionate society does.
