Todays first download is a bootleg in memory of Lou Reed who died yesterday. This is a show he recorded in Paris, France in 1974 at the Olympia Music Hall. This is in superb quality and the audio for this show was taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is a wicked set by Lou with the classic tracks "Sweet Jane" "Vicious" "Heroin" and "Walk On The Wild Side" all being played. Todays second download is the first bootleg by this band that I've post - but not the first album. They are called Okkervil River and this is the set they played at the recent Austin City Limits Festival in Austin, Texas on the 11th October 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is only a short set and the final track The Valley has the end missing - but it's still well worth the download. If you know and like this band - then grab this one.... Todays extra download is another set by the Alan Parsons Project and an upgrade to a previously posted show. This show was originally posted on the 30th October 2010 - it was reposted on the 13th January 2013 and now the same show - with seven additional tracks. The original show was the FM broadcast and wasn't complete. This is the full monty and is sourced from the soundboard. If you've downloaded this show in the past - forget that - grab this version - this is a great show and thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers that was recorded at the Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee on the 16th June 2006. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of TP&TH albums and boots over the years and I was surprised that I couldn't see this one in my files. This is great stuff - Tom plays a wicked set with a few cover versions, a song from his days with the Travelling Wilburys and is also joined onstage by Stevie Nicks. Todays second download is a recent set by Arcade Fire that was recorded at the Bridge School Benefit Festival, Mountain View, USA on the 26th October 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. The band are promoting their new album "Reflektor" (which I've previously posted) and play a couple of songs from it as well as Neil Young song - with Neil Young himself joining the band onstage. This is a semi acoustic set and it's a cracker - if you like Arcade Fire - this is thoroughly recommended...
