Todays first download is a set by Eric Clapton that was recorded at the Sports and Entertainment Centre, Melbourne, Australia on the 23rd November 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks and stacks of EC bootlegs and albums over the years but I can't see this one anywhere. If you like Ol' Slowhand - then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is an acoustic set by Tesla that was recorded in New York City on the 27th June 1990. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and its top notch. I've not posted much by Tesla over the years - just a handful of boots and a studio released album. This is the first acoustic show that I've ever seen by them and its a cracker. Some classic tracks including some wicked covers - especially their version of the Rolling Stones track "Mothers Little Helper". A guest appearance is made on the show of Don Dokken of the band Dokken. This is great stuff and thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by Stevie Nicks that was recorded at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre, Los Angeles in December 1981 - the exact date isn't listed. This is in superb quality - really top notch sound and the audio has been taken from an LP distributed for broadcast on radio stations across America. Stevie was on tour promoting her "Bella Donna" album and six tracks from the album are performed - the album hit number 1 on the US billboard chart. A couple of songs from her Fleetwood Mac days are also performed ending with a top version of "Rhiannon". If you like Stevie Nicks, this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by John Mellencamp that was recorded at the Agora Ballroom, Cleveland, Ohio on the 25th July 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a Pre-FM Master Reel that was broadcast on WMMS-FM radio's Coffee Break Show - and it's a wicked set. I've only posted a couple of shows by JM in the past - and only one studio album. This is an acoustic set and he plays a lot of cover versions of well known songs - he ends with his classic track Jack & Diane. If you like John Mellencamp - then grab this one..... Todays extra download is a bootleg by The Who that has been taken from various FM sources in 1976 - this boot features both solo and band performances by Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey. The first half dozen tracks are split between solo shows by both PT and RD and the last four tracks are from a gig by The Who at the Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto, Ontario in 1986 - a show I've previously posted in full. This is a cracking bootleg and if you like The Who - then this is thoroughly recommended...
