Todays first download is a set by Paul Simon that was recorded in New York on the 21st October 2006. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM Broadcast of the set. I've previously posted a couple of other shows from this tour by PS but none recently. A top setlist with tracks from both his solo albums as well as a good helping of Simon & Garfunkel material. If you like Paul Simon - then this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul that was recorded at the Rockpalast, Essen, Germany on the 16th October 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is only the 4th album I've posted by LS - I've posted a couple of studio released albums and 1 bootleg in the past. Little Steven is better known for his long time friendship and performances with Bruce Springsteen - and he performs on nearly all Bruce Springsteens albums and tours. If don't know Little Steven - then give this one a try ..... Todays extra download is a set by the Alan Parsons Project that was recorded in Chile on the 21st October 1995. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots lately by TAPP - they seem to be like buses - don't see one for ages, then they all come at the same time. This is a good one with a top setlist. Todays first download is a set by the legendary Bob Dylan that was recorded at the Target Center, Minneapolis, MN on the 23rd October 1998. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Good quality boots by Dylan are quite rare - I only have a few myself. This is a cracking set with a wicked setlist with variations on different classics like "Just Like A Woman" "Tangled Up In Blue" & "Blowin' In The Wind". If you like Bob Dylan - then grab this show.... Todays second download is a set by Vampire Weekend that was recorded at the Austin City Limits Festival in Austin TX on the 11th October 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds wicked. I've posted a few boots by VW lately - they have been touring and playing all the outdoor festivals and I've posted the sets from Glastonbury, Coacehlla, Lollapallooza, Optimus that they performed. If you grabbed any of those and like Vampire Weekend - then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Pink Floyd front man David Gilmour. This is a show he recorded at Hammersmith Odeon, London on the 30th April 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a dvd audio rip that sounds top notch. This is a cracking show with some great tracks from both Dave's solo albums and a couple of classics from his Pink Floyd catalogue. There are classic versions of the PF classics "Run Like Hell" and "Comfortably Numb" that are worth the download on their own. This is a wicked show and is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by The Joy Formidable that was recorded at the Austin City Limits Festival, Austin TX on the 12th October 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted - although not the first album as I've previously posted one of the bands studio released albums. This is a crackin' set and the band are really up for this one... and the audience love it... I don't really know anything about this band but I've had a listen to this and it rocks... If you like The Joyformidable - then grab this show.... Todays extra download is a bootleg by Dream Theater that was made for the 10th anniversary of "Images And Words" and send out as a cd for the bands International fan clubs cd 2002. This is a bootleg taken from 3 live shows in Japan and US in 1992-1993 and is in superb quality. I've posted a lot of shows and albums by DT over the years, but none recently - so if you like Dream Theater, grab this one ... this is thoroughly recommended....
