I'm hesitant to swamp the thread as I know these things become ever expanding, and I'm not the best with brevity. I do think you're intentionally seeking to not address or appreciate the point I'm making about the video and channel, but I don't have the energy to rehash. That's fine. You can take whatever tack you wish and of course believe whatever you wish about your own or other races. I would suggest that there are other ways an interacting with and appreciating people of other races than the angles you take - this idea of genetically distancing yourself from them and so on (we can only ever deal with society as it is now). I have one other point to make about your racial genetics interest but I'll make that in the Wilf thread.

I've answered your points on both the video and the channel.

What you don't seem to appreciate is that I'm against your politics for partly practical reasons....whereas you think it's just race ideology. You believe that integration is the better course of action where I see only inevitable dehumanisation and conflict. I've lived my younger life where I was forced into a highly diverse area against my choice whereas I expect you haven't been.

So I regard your position as the position of an idealog whereas mine is tuned into the practical affects of demographic changes.

Yours is a politics of hope with no actual positive data, whereas I just look at history and understand that humans essentially don't change, the only thing that changes is the direction of power systems depending upon those that direct it.

Yeah but if the UK could only just stop selling them arms we could bring peace.

Yeah man.

Now that Trump has gone isn't it just amazing that the media have nothing to report!
Dear old Joe must be doing a great job with absolutely everything American.
It is a stone cold certainty that the - generally - left wing media will not call out a single thing that either he or his Democrat cities do wrong.
Dear old Senator of Texas takes a break - ill advised I might add given the state of emergency - and the media go into a frenzy!
Anyone hear about the 81 murders in Democrat run Chicago yet?
Sorry - I should have said - that is 81 murders so far in 2021 and it is not even the end of February yet!
America is a basket case and it will get worse.
Disney pull the old Muppet Show because it upsets too many people's rights and cultures - headline news in the Woke World that we now inhabit - but 81 murders in 7 weeks is hardly worthy of a mention.
What a world!

What is newsworthy is rarely what is news. Unless you can cite examples of the right wing media leading on Chicago's murder rates, they all follow the same pattern. If it ain't entertaining, don't print it.

Biden wearing pink underwear would get headline news but a City in freefall does not. Trump was a basket case, but he knew how to entertain, and the media lapped up every utterance. There s a rather long thread on perceived bias against Trump, but honestly it was more like shooting fish in a barrel in which Trump had supplied the fish.

What you describe, whilst a condemnation of the situation in the USA, has nothing at all to do with Biden or the Democrats. They don't cause that level of murder in Chicago, which have been going on like that for a very long time. Indeed you could argue that they are the party more likely to do something about it as they are the ones in favour of more gun control.

The fact that things are now politically quieter in terms of newsworthiness was entirely to be expected and is very welcome. The days of Trump's attention-seeking are now gone, hopefully forever. Biden is just getting on with things, especially the vital work on the pandemic.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

Biden is having his honeymoon period but it won't last the media will turn on him soon enough as they do every politician.

The difference was that Trump was never allowed a honeymoon.

Wisbech - actually you can blame the Democrats for doing nothing about it and brushing it under the carpet so to speak.
I speak regularly to someone who lives there and the Mayor - Lori Lightfoot - is just dreadful.
She locks herself in her Mansion and takes police off the streets to over protect her.
When you read her social media there is never anything about any of the bad stuff and nor does she condemn it.
It would not be politically correct to do so!
My issue is that they do nothing about it and do not shout about the need for change and the media as such defends that by not printing anything about it and so it goes on effectively behind closed doors.
Just dreadful.

A corrupt system never reforms itself.

Like Detroit these are cities that have been on the spiral down for decades.

More likely to do something? Since Chicago has been Democrat run for 90 years they’re taking their time about it.

Totally agree, Guliani may not be popular anymore but look at the way he totally changed New York. I have been during zero tolerance and not, the comparison is unreal. You are talking feeling safe, walking with your missus looking at sites, or wondering if it's safe to go into a subway or get the train. Just gangs hanging around that you don't want to meet. And believe me or not, I'm not a scared person at all.
Let's face it, Zero tolerance does not equate with defund the police. Who does that help? First clean up, then invest in society. Don't let crime pay or guess what? Every person who needs to/wants to will do it.
It is that simple. Clean up first. Then invest in a place. I guess race is stopping anything now and the discussions are taboo. Yes, the police are all evil and kill black people. Simplistic, stupid and dangerous message. Yet look at everyone think it's fine. Like mum used to say, if they told you to stick your head in the oven, would you do it? Looks like many would now.

Many Democrat Cities/States have these issues and more so than Republican ones - I believe.
Biden and Harris are unlikely to condemn violence right now because to do so would be to criticize their own Party.
The Capitol riots were easy pickings for them, especially as the media had silenced Trump by then.
Democrats were way more involved in those riots than we will ever find out as well!!
