A new twist with the Co-op (our village shop) is that as well as one hour every day for the vulnerable (and their carers), they are now including NHS workers! Oh joy, people from the front line of infection shopping alongside the vulnerable and elderly - who the hell thought that a good idea?

No tux, they are advising not telling. I get your point but we had far more contact with people in Tesco for 30mins yesterday (both physical and airborne) than we had for over 140hrs while in Portugal*.

Maybe they brought an old person’s id, and there’s no stopping them buying for multiple people (their families) There are plenty of people with limited intelligence in retail.

Sainsbury's( i think) have introduced shopping hours for NHS/key workers 07.30 - 08.30 Mon - Sat & then OAPS/vulnerable/carers 08.30 - 09.30 Mon,Weds,Fri
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Ray of hope, maybe, that some kind of normality is only a few weeks away. The pictures in this article are really quite exciting. No evidence yet as far as I know whether there'll be a second wave in Asia to follow the return to work?
