You do understand that 'Right wing' does not mean you are a Nazi. I see this as a potential vote loser for the left . The more they accuse people of being a nazi for disagreeing with them, the more people will kick against it . It is all a gamble for them . Try and garner the votes of immigrants, and minorities, or gamble on losing the core vote of the working class . Because it is mainly the working class that have an issue with religious, and racial differences .

This is purely about self interest and nothing to do with some greater morality at all.

You know....those middle class people who 'love diversity' but move out and live in mainly white areas. Where as the actual working class have to like it or lump it. But there are a lot of lower and middle class who can see what is happening to this country.....We are all united on this. Edited by Stirlingsays (20 Jun 2018 5.24pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (20 Jun 2018 4.55pm) This is typical of politicians from all sides, gesture politics (sign a letter or petition) and shut down the debate. If they are really concerned about the rise of the "far right" rather than scream racist why not engage with the public (I don't mean Tommy Robinson and his crowd I mean the public). The way to tackle extremism is to cut off their support base and you do that by addressing what is bothering ordinary people. Many of the areas where the far right are allegedly rising are actually Labour so why are politicians not talking to the voters in that area. Or do they not want to hear what the public have to say? The more politicians deny that their policies are causing a problem and the more they ignore their own voters the more likely that people will to turn to extremism. I actually think the rise of the far right is over hyped at the moment but do nothing and it may happen and then the left will say "told you so". Where is the voice of reason where are the politicians who will come forward with sensible policies to lance the boil.

The far left took over a whole major national party. The right didn't organise street protests over that.

Because the media turns the middle classes against the poor and the poor on it’s own, so that the middle and upper classes can reign unchallenged. They started all this with the stories of immigrants being a strain on society and the taxpayer, when in fact they are far less of a burden than the corporate fraudsters and tax dodgers. When this argument was laid bare they needed a new storyline. Along comes the Islam storyline which again is blown out of proportion to feed the underclass masses and have them raging against the machine and each other and anyone who will listen. It’s a tried and tested method which until you leave the bubble and look at things from another angle you will get roped along and cajoled into believing everything the media and people like Tommy Robinson pedal out. How do I know this? Because I’ve Seen it from both sides of the fence. And I know that my current way of seeing things is far more believable than my former view.

For every one Muslim who joined the British Army (and respect to each of those) There were four who joined IS. So don't come one here and talk about being fooled. You're the one with your head in the sand mate.

Haha. And just to prove how bonkers your focus on the dangers of Islam are. I plucked lawnmowers out of thin air. Did a google search on the real stats of Muslim murders. And this came up third on the list. Laughable.
