This post has been merged from a topic called 'CPFC2010 Statement 19:30 Monday 7th June' by jcreedy Every time the ownership of CPFC changed hands going back to Bloye it became harder and harder to for the new guy to bring any success. The deals got more and more complicated and the debts got heavier. We lost ownership of our ground, ended up paying crippling rents to stay thereand in the end had to even sign over players contracts to a hedge fund to keep going. There is no one chairman responsible for the club arriving at this situation. ALL must shelve responsibility for this. Bloye, Noades, Golberg and Jordan.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'CPFC2010 Statement 19:30 Monday 7th June' by jcreedy Fantastic - this consortium is already infinitely better than the previous 'regime'. Communication with supporters, proper business acumen and having someone called Jeremy on board is the biggest bonus of all

This post has been merged from a topic called 'CPFC2010 Statement 19:30 Monday 7th June' by jcreedy I know I'm going to get shot down over this and it probably is a bit premature, BUT what a shot in the arm this is for all involved with Palace. If the players have that same huge sense of, I don't know, almost the phoenix rising from the ashes, we have a great chance next season. I read an earlier post that we were 50/1, second favourites to get relegated. Well, I'll have a nice bet at 50/1 we get promoted. And before you all laugh, there's an old saying, "If you don't aim for the stars, you won't even get to the top of the stairs". This has brought us together as a club in my eyes and now the only way is up. Again, thank you CPFC2010.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'CPFC2010 Statement 19:30 Monday 7th June' by jcreedy Jeremy Hoskins, fantastic guy contacted me to help the club, doesn't want to be actively involved and would prefer to keep his involvement private. I asked him if we could name him in the interest of transparency with the fans. He kindly agreed. He's very successful and has nothing but altruistic motives, beyond that it would be great if we could respect his wishes and his privacy its amazing he agreed to help us, there are no strings attached.

I can just imagine the Holmesdale Fanatics trying that one!!
The crowd is outstanding, and especially with the penalty after 44 minutes it was clear when we came out after half-time the welcome would be pretty loud and not too friendly. Crystal Palace wanted to strike back, so that was all clear. This is a wonderful place to play football - Jurgen Klopp |
