That vicious metal seperation fence they are putting up is still there. It looks exactly the same as anyway. Wonder if it is the same one ? Nerd alert!

Does anyone have any photos of "The Last Stand", the last game before the old Holmesdale Terrace was turned into the stand it now is. I was at the match, had a ticket with my name printed on it and got a photo from the Addy special edition at the time. I've since lost both. It would be great to see the photo again.
great day that...didnt uncle ron come onto the pitch afterwards with a microphone telling all the "mindless b******s" who ran onto th pitch to get back into the stands.

wondering when The Whitehorse Terrace was built and The Arthur Waite and what would have been the capacity at SP? I presume the AW must have been built in the very early 70s.

I think the AW stand was built in the close season 1968/69 after the Fulham game when Palace won promotion to old 1st div. I'm positive it was open for the first game against Man Utd.
