Does Marco still go to the Tool Box every Friday night with his 'special' friends?

Max respect to all those that marched. Looked like a wicked day out. It's just a shame that Blair won't listen.

it was amazing. and to think that for every person there there was some lazy arse who couldn't be bothered to go it makes it even more awesome (just think how many more millions would have been there). i was with 3 march virgins and they loved it. it felt good and i think that blair is listening actually...... not openly admitting it but..... we'll see. and boys - even kylie was there! For every person (of the estimated 1m that were there) there were 58 who either: a - could not be bothered Maybe we should have a pro-war march and see who turns up for that All this crap on TV about it being *obvious* that most of the country don't want a war, how do they know? I think any kind of referendum on this would produce a VERY close result.

now you have to be careful there - remember this march was for people who: a) do not want war under any circumstances (unless our country under direct attack or threat from Iraq perhaps) i would bet a rather large amount that the majority of britons do not want war if it means defying the un - that's like saying, oh that huge peace keeping force that lots of countries unite together to keep going - who needs it? stuff 'em - um, how scary??!!

Yeah well done everyone who went. I'm sure all those millions of Iraqi's that live in fear of there lives day in day out are very proud of you.

Lets be honest, the civilian casulties caused by US and her allies are going to be minimal, compared to the hundreds of thousands that have already perished under Saddam's leadership, and the hundreds of thousends more that will perish all the time he is in power. I cannot understand why people are supporting a man that has killed members of his own family, because he felt they were destroying his image. A man who kidknapped the leader of another country, set his beard alight and hammered nails into his head until he died.

It would be fantastic if we had a referendum on it --- actually being asked about it would be a stupendous step on the road to real freedom and democracy. Which is exactly why it would never ever happen, not in a million years mate.

Which is exactly why it would never ever happen, not in a million years mate. But how could there ever be a fair referendum on this? The government can't disclose it's intelligence on Iraq, we can't therefore make an informed decision. At the end of the day a democracy only gives you the power to elect a government, from then on you have to trust them to get on with the job. If we had a referendum on every important decision nothing would ever get done and the tabloids would be running the country. Not to mention the cost and logistics of organising it all.
