Most people in my office are constantly checking for updates but a few people are just working away totally unbothered.

What is wrong with some people!!??

my best mate is in work, crapping her pants and all her other co-workers are carrying on talking insurance jargon crap not bothered by it all considering an explosion has gone off just roads away?!?!?

Most football teams are temperamental.

That's 90% temper and 10% mental.

I agree jay, its never been a matter if but when. IRA have been ruled out, so I think it is Al Quieda way of telling us we aren't safe, expecially now we have got the Olympics.

Everyone in and around London today be safe and take care.

My mum's supposed to be at work up in Tavistock Place this morning, but she hasn't arrived yet and I can't get her on her mobile, which is a little worrying

Don't worry Mr Statto - I'm sure Mummy Statto is fine, please let me know once you've heard from her though! I do worry!

Thanks for your concern Saucy. I'm suspecting that she's just stuck somewhere, because she didn't leave Smitham until 9:25, so even if she'd changed onto a fast train she wouldn't have been to London until 10 - after everything happened.

That's just the ramblings of a madman

We've been instructed to stay in the building u.f.n.

I would suggest that if you work in the City and you haven't been told to evacuate, you stay put.

Don't get too panicky about things like EC - they have also closed Brihton and Swindon due to "security incidents". There will be a lot of panicky folks around today, quite understandably, and a lot of perfectly innocent things will look like bombs. I reported one on a bus myself when the IRA were operating - just someone's bag forgotten.

I do wonder whether if yesterday's decision had gone differently we might have been talking about Paris, Madrid, Moscow or New York? Or it could be because of G8.

Given that half the Met are up at Gleneagles, this looks like a perfect opportunity to cause maximum chaos and disruption.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
