i thought that was one of the biffs you started.. allegedly Edited by big fat london boy (25 Sep 2004 5:13pm) Did not start. Was there in the planning. Eternally ashamed. But, who would have ever thought that the game itself would (football in general)ever have been week in and week out following Palace,

I'm not going to bear chests and go into the ins and outs of past history. But.. It was arranged on a march the week before [though had gained a little pace as Brum fell down the table prior to it] and then some members from Brum came the the same day, after the march, to see Palace at Leicester to confirm it. Unfortunately I did have plenty to do with it, though of course like most things it got messed up with regard to times, dates and numbers etc. It is a matter of public record now. Say what you will (we've had this discssions before.) That is what happened. Yes I've changed. No, I'm currently in Leeds (for a week). That I've never changed.....well...I could hardly hold the job I do now if I did not/had not. Maybe I just grew up. Edited by Oz Eagle (27 Sep 2004 12:29am)

Thank you BFLB. "Grassing" is not what happened. I think I'm more of a man for it too. Some on here are trying to capture [note: not recapture] something that has passed them by and all the stupid messages via pm do their case no good. Been there, done that. End of.

There seems to be a bit of in-squabbling going on and I can't say that I know (or care to know) about various bods Palace related history. I was in Blaydon getting friendly with a Geordie bird and must admit I was disappointed that I missed it.My Leicester City mate was there (in the AW) and confirmed that Brum kicked off when we scored our 1st (10-13mins into the match). It was widely known but only from the previous night onwards, that it was on the cards that they were looking to celebrate their relegation in this way.7000 Brum, many in ridiculous fancy dress, showed, with of least 500 getting off at Crystal Palace station! My Leicester mate, liking a tear up, said the Zulu's mob was huge but he was extremely impressed with a few hundred Palace in the AW standing their ground alongside plod.He said that u could tell it was going to go and Palace lads in the AW had ripped out seats in preparation for the inevitable.
