well, the similarities are endless. theyve both spearheaded a reign of fear and terror, and Bush is responsible for easily as many deaths as Hussein is.

And at least Hussein was upfront about a dictatorship in Iraq. Bush has just put a puppet government into place to try and make the world think Iraq is running itself, while he's pulling all the strings.

No don't get me wrong, I don't support Saddam. The man's a monster. But Bush is as bad, worse in my opinion.

Amen to that, my friend. It all goes back to Thatcher you know, before the 80s it was generally regarded as unacceptable to have credit cards ... the Tory government of the 80s encouraged a "spend spend spend" culture, fuelled by credit card borrowing, which we are still paying for.

You Sir are obviously devoid of all common sense and I am too busy to debate important issues with deranged idiots.

Your opinions are laughable and any body who hash the slightest unbiased view of history and politics would find you at best amusing, at worst an irritance and a pillock.

Reborn, all the insults you can muster are not an answer to some valid points made by Lestat - come on down and answer the deranged idiots when you're less busy ?

Well, for a start the US sanctions against Iraq in the ten years between the two Gulf Wars were responsible for an estimated half a million Iraqi kids dying.
