Great.
A word of advice.

Don't constantly defend yourself and make it all about you.

No one cares.

You are entitled to an opinion, and I'm sure others will be open to it.

I doubt most on here will agree with you on this subject, but as long as you don't mind debating with minority opinions and don't act like a narcissistic nutcase, you will be fine.

Thanks for the advice and I take it onboard with future political posts (probably less so once the season starts :L)

If you refer to my previous post just above. As I said I didnt say I was more qualified, I form an opinion based on both sides of the argument. I merely pointed out the A level thing as a point of reference to my initial interest in the matter in response to another query on my initial post of not posting on politics

No, I mean just mentioning the A level. My experience on here the etiquette is generally people disclose very little personal information, occasionally someone might mention they were for example in a specific occupation if it is very relevant to needing factual input,

WE is a poster who never gets bored of talking about himself and his " achievements ", you will get the drift when he posts.

There are various shades of view represented, unlike the BBS all views welcome . Opinions are not facts here ( again refer WE and one or two others ). Hypocrisy generally gets a rough ride

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

In the meantime you may find this interesting and illuminating:-

What's the point? You'll only dismiss it anyway. It was on Politico if you want to look for it.

Dark ages was probably wrong of me to use so I will apologize on that and was wrong of me to use that language - should of said something akin to Miles Behind.

Mmmm....there are significant differences even within Europe on some of these...the Swiss on guns for example, I think Germany have a bigger private health sector and don't get me started on abortion....that has always had strong, if a minority, opposition.

Please, don't feel you need to apologise for your choice of language. You are entitled to your opinion here and the cut and thrust of debate is just part of the discourse.

Very easy to answer. So easy it would be stupid to ask it.

He has withdrawn as a candidate. Not as President. He believes, as Harris and the cabinet believe, he is capable of serving his full term.

He is serving. That you believe him to be unfit is nothing new and nothing that requires an answer. Next question.

Again you have missed the point. It doesn't matter what you or I think or whether even Biden is still competent to carry out his term.

I said this morning the Republicans would go after Joe telling him to stand down not realising that Trump has already said this. This is the way they will damage Harris, "you were in the room. you have the power to replace him along with the cabinet, why didn't you act, lack of judgement blah blah".

Again, another post I agree with.

I also find it odd Trump is even running when he can only do one term anyways (the phrase lame duck president widely used for someone in their second term)

I fear Trump's son will end up running in 2028 to carry on the mad house dynasty though.

Nonsense Trump jnr will be 22/23 years old in 2028, you need to be at least 35 to be able to run for the Presidency

And posts like these are the reasons I havent posted about politics.

I have actually have an A Level in US politics so have always had an interest in this.

I dont think its about stooping low, the election is in 4 months and they need to confirm a choice, and she just so happens to be the VP who the President and the Clintons and many other top democrats have endorsed (except Obama, which is telling). She also happens to be African American and a Women - which you have kindly pointed out will be an a big thing Trump and his cult will push when it comes to race issues and the female votes (which by the way, since Roe v Wade was essentially reversed, women will more likely vote for another women whether people agree with it or not)

She may not be the best choice, but she is probably the most realistic given the time frames involved, and the fact Trump's campaign is full steam ahead. Bidens Campaign would transfer to Harris.

USA are still living in the Dark Ages when it comes the 3 main talking points that always get brought up around election time - Guns, Abortion and Healthcare.

Did you buy it? Even with me half sleepily scrolling through this thread I've spotted two obvious mistakes firstly your claim that Trump jnr will possibly run in 2028 & secondly that Harris is 'African American' when in fact she's of Jamaican-Indian heritage

I understand you second point and I was aware she is part indian - however in the broad scheme of things she is wrongly put in the African American spectrum (even in the UK Press - along with millions of others who are actually Caribbean or West indian)
