Why not? He's still a good player. Would you sooner see Edouard or Wilf come off the bench to try and rescue a point?

Perhaps he's ready to come back and seal his legacy? But someone like Philogene is tge future, IF we can get him to SE25?

Anyone who listened to his podcast with Calvin Andrew will know he will have zero desire to come back to Palace

Would not be surprised if Wilf ends up with West Ham. Munoz will have him for toast then...

He said recently he wanted to leave Palace because he didn't just want to be known as 'Mr Palace' - he wanted to also win things and have his own story. I honestly think we're the least likely club in any of the top 8 or so first divisions that he'll turn up at, and he doesn't fit the club's buying profile either. “Champions League is top. But I just needed something new and the reality is, obviously Premier League is top, top but I just wanted my identity not just to be Crystal Palace. “You’ve got to understand, I love Crystal Palace so much but I’m more than Crystal Palace. “I didn’t want my talent to just be seen like one of those things where the people go ‘the streets won’t forget ballers’. “I’m more than that… ‘he used to just do tricks and nutmegs in the Premier League’… No, I helped the team win games. You can look at stats, If I didn’t play, we weren’t winning.”
