Surely one has to question if he shows that much promise, why Barcelona were happy to let him go? Barcelona did have a buy back option, but its only active next summer. Its a very unique deal, as until tomorrow he's still a Barca player. I suspect we wont hear for a few more days as there is still some money moving to do, and I guess he'll have to have to get registered with Betis first before we can buy him.

We seem to do our best business in the £10-15M range so feel this guy fits our model. Brought up in the Barcelona academy and loaned out to a European qualifying LaLiga team in Betis is an excellent start to a career! 30+ LaLiga games at 20 years old in a side that finished 7th is evidence this lad can play and not forgetting 2 international caps!! I’m very excited we are in the position we are to sign him long term!

Its a perfect combo really, getting though the Barca academy shows he has talent, a season in La Liga at 20 shows he has the maturity. Fantastic pedigree
