Or, he wont sign a contract without a release clause full stop. The kid clearly wants to be in control of his career, and not have a chairman holding out for a world record bid. If he has a clause, and its £60m, I cant imagine it not getting triggered.

If I was Sir Jim Radcliffe, I’d offer Palace £150m for both superstars Olise and Eze, keep Fernandes and build a new squad around those 3.

Long gone are the days when the big 6 can cherry pick the best talent on the cheap from other Premiership clubs. When United paid 80 million for Maguire I laughed out load, Guehi is much better so add another 20 million on for his signature. What did they pay for Anthony, I would add another 20 million on that for Olise’s signature! Unless we want to sell any of our players nothing much will happen, so until I see it on Sky football news as a done deal, I’m a non believer…… Edited by Gary St.Andrews (09 May 2024 8.01pm)

I’d rather spend the summer thinking of how good next season could be than looking at made up speculation most of which will be complete rubbish.

As someone said yesterday, it's going to be a long summer listening to all the click bait permutations of our starts. But we are used to it from Wilf's days.

On the potential Guehi transfer, and i've got to say i like what Richards brings to the team, Richards has had injuries in the past so were he to have another we could be light on. I am agreement that i would not swap Olise for anyone else in the Premier League. I expect him to be in either the French or England squad for the Euro's and make an impact.

For sure clubs are going to have to be more creative in future transfer windows with how new deals are structured - Originally posted by viveasheagle
