But out of interest, what role do people think he plays in our squad now?

Cover for any of the front 3.
Imagine in mid winter next season, injuries all over the place like this year but instead of the dross we had we had Wilf. I think there is still a player there.

Imagine a Wilf in his prime under OG… bow that would be something.

I would have him back but he wont be happy sitting on the bench here so I suspect its a no go.

The above wont stop Parish signing him though.

The mountains are calling & I must go.

But he's not prime any more, and more than likely to be one of the ones on the treatment table.

And for wages way and above what he’s actually worth!

No, no, no, no…NO!

NO for goodness sake. What a ludicrous notion. Heroic for us in the past - not any more.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Another No. We can not afford his wages. The only way we could would be to sell Olise and Eze. So straight choice have a good chance of keeping those 2 or Zaha. I also think Glasner and Freedman would walk. So in my view very bad idea

Playing in a poor league and not doing that great there.
No thanks.

Definitely would - he's Palace through and through and under Glasner could reignite his career at top level again.

As someone has said earlier. Selhurst Park is a happier place without his petulant, moody and moaning behavior. Not to mention taking an age to pull his socks up and get off the ground.

Likes of Eze and olise are flourishing without him.

No, sorry Sporty, he's not Palace through and through now. He's ex Palace. His presence would be a major disruption.
