Has he been convicted of Treason?

Not even charged yet.

Some thought are advocating he should be, and could be and if he was and convicted that this would ban him from holding office.

This is far from done yet.

Speculation on what-aboutery regarding Trump. You think the Judiciary are impartial ?
Democracy, where the biggest minority group decides what's good for the majority that didn't vote for them.

I hope Trump shakes things up a lot. He's already got a strong presence in the polls.

Yes I do think the Judiciary are politically impartial, certainly here and from all I can see at every level in the USA too. That’s not to say that some senior Judges have either more conservative or liberal reputations, especially obviously at Supreme Court level, but even then they can surprise with their legal opinions.

You point out why some form of PR would be an improvement to our system.

Nobody closed down the world. The world had to react to an unknown virus in the most appropriate way local circumstances demanded in order to save lives and provide time for solutions to be found.

Trump was involved in that reaction at the beginning. Biden inherited the job.

Biden, or any imagined “proxies”, didn’t start any wars. Putin did. I am pleased to see the USA maintaining its commitment to NATO and not walking away as Trump threatened to, thus opening the door to Russia creep on the eastern edge of Europe. Maybe you are too young to recall the idea of a repressive regime to the east of us being a threat. Some of us aren’t.

Just western propaganda you seem to have fallen for unfortunately.

But anyways I disagree with your opinion and I respect your right to have one and it is just that.

The Judiciary is impacted by politics. Look at the convictions for the Stephen Lawrence murder. And also those who were suspects.
That is one example. For a recent example, look at the poicing policy for the Notting Hill Carnival.

I did not suggest anything about Proportional Representation.

Some interesting polling out following Trumps arrest. Seem to show it has done him nothing other than favours along with increases in support from the African-American community.

Which is a real potential blow to the Democrats. They take those votes for granted.

The Eisenhower 8 year presidency is often compared to the Kennedy years critically.

Yet Eisenhower gave America stability peace and growth albeit he was seen as an boring old man.

Kennedy on the other hand brought sexy to the White House and Hollywood glamour yet he almost brought America to nuclear war and failed to do anything about civil rights.

Eisenhower is seriously underrated as a President and Kennedy the opposite.

Yeah, that's really helped America that one.

There are 'civil rights', some of which we can agree with and then there is what actually happened and is called 'civil rights'.

In reality that happened has set in motion its own decline.....which you can actually measure both economically and socially.

Also to be fair to Kennedy....and I agree that he was far from the great president many think of....he only lasted half the presidency.....and his brother pushed hard for the 1965 civil rights act.....Oh and Robert lied through his teeth about its effects.

All the original objections to it have come true....never highlighted of course, if ever commented upon only demonised...despite being accurate.

Only boomer myths are taught about those 'civil rights', the 'feels' and not the 'reals'. Nothing anything actually related to the statistics of how they have changed America.....who benefited, who didn't and what America actually is and how it teaches its children to think of it.

It seems to me that almost everything you express is based on propaganda, either in the form of conspiracy theories or spread by malign actors on the internet.

We have a free press so there is plenty of criticism of government actions. Which can be evaluated and assessed. So if propaganda is attempted it will be called out. Unlike in some other places.

I don’t think that is true in any way. The Judiciary have nothing to do with who is brought to Court. Nor do they, in a jury trial, decide verdicts. They ensure due process is followed and direct the jury on points of law.

How on earth are the Judiciary involved in policing policy?

I suggested that PR might be an answer.

Just because you don't like my views or opinions doesn't make them a conspiracy theory.

That's politics dictating policing policy,.....not the judiciary.

Of course it doesn’t,

It’s because of what they are that does that.
