Need to watch outfor the gorgeous Salma, but I think we can win.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Well the best team won I don't think we can have any complaints, including playing 14 minutes extra.

Fluent, better on the ball, not giving us any time to settle.

Still a very strong WC from the lionesses.

Well thats that nonsense over till the next time , the girls really would be more credible if they stopped comparing themselves to the mens game
Really turns me off even taking a glimps of it when they start talking about first world cup final since 1966 .Its an insult to the great players who have tried and failed over the years to put that right .

Our girls looked tired I thought, made too many errors, some poor passing with one leading to Spain's goal. No doubt, on the day, the better (stronger) team won.

Shame, but that's it for 4 years. Can't say I'll be rushing to watch another women's game for a while. They did OK, but unfortunately the women's game lacks the skill, speed and edginess that I enjoy from watching football. And yes, before any wisecracks, I do get that from watching Palace.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

No one's forcing you to watch it, nor comment on it on this thread. Yet somehow you manage to do so.

In regards to the game sadly we were by far second best. Having said that the referee was abysmal and we absolutely should have played the last 20 mins against ten.

Entertaining match.

Lucy Bronzes' venture upfield had disastrous consequences rather like those of our Van Anholt of not so blessed memory.

We did hit the bar early on but very few chances created and they were fitter and faster.

Our somewhat easy run-in to the final raised too many expectations and the pre-match hype didn't help either.

Mary's GK award well deserved

No complaints, we were outclassed.

The lionesses performances in major tournaments far surpasses the mens record since 1966, they have never reached a major final since then.

So comments are ok only if they are positive !

I know nobodies forcing me to watch it but I catch the highlights so I can comment objectively to all the missplaced comments I hear about the womens game . Thought the ref was comparable to any other woman ref ,as usless as the players .

Im trying to save you !

I’ve actually enjoyed the World Cup and I don’t think the players or refs are useless.

I think Prince a William should have been there as he is President of the FA.

Could Wiegman manage the men’s team? Well I think her tactics and formation came up short in the final so I’m not sure about that one, but in principle there’s no reason why a woman couldn’t manage the men’s team.

All interesting debating points though

'The lionesses left absolutely nothing out there'.

I think that should be 'everything', Rishi.

Thank you for India's great contribution to world football.
