While i was waiting for the footy to start y/day, i watched a program on PBS America which was all about the build up to the Vietnam war & Ho Chi Minh's rise to power. It also reflected on the fight the Vietnamese were having with their colonial masters, the British in the South & the French in the North.

The program was called 'The Vietnam War' catch if you can, very interesting.

Bit longer than that, but, yes we were & did. It was the French who got a whole pile of trouble from the locals. Very insightful programme.

I have no presumptions about Putin but to credit him with interference that genuinely works in all of our elections is ridiculous. I'm sure he tries in some cases.
What is causing the rise of the right, the rise of populism is immigration and the consequences of it. People can see it with their own eyes every time they go out. Sometimes they need only look out of the window. They don't need Putin to tell them.
There are large swathes of France where they literally stare at you for being white. How that happened was little to do with Putin. Our own governments did it.
