CHO would be in high on my list. He’s a talent, who is under valued. He needs building up and support. Basically a great fit - provided wages could be reasonable.

However, post Chelsea fall out I can’t see it. Alan Nixon has also said it was always unlikely - in my view he seems to be a decent source for palace intel.

Let’s hope we are about to uncover another hidden gem.

I'd still love CHO.

Agree that we feel like hte type of place that could get him firring again.

Even if its not him, it feels like we could do with another wide man to give us options.

Summerville (I know there is a thread on him but...).

Clickbait today suggests Leeds are breathing a huge sigh of relief now Olise is safe, but this guy would still provide that other option, even with Olise.

My wife (knowledgeable of the beautiful game) provides the occasional insight and she has pointed out 2 players in the last year who she thought - Palace to the core. Mandueke of Chelsea; and this guy. And I agree. One replacing Zaha (although more team player than central pivot) and the other pretty much doing what he did with Leeds while pushing Olise to keep his place.

We will get neither, of course, as we lack the funds; but I can always dream...

Considering what has ended up happening , I ll change the Olise part to attempted.
As far as Hall is concerned it’s as with everything that’s on these threads just opinion.
Mine is they let Palace think he was coming here, and then contrived a very different situation, and two or three threads on here were showing a similar take on it for what it’s worth.
Just opinion but this present Chelsea regime are smart arsed to a high degree, and any cosy little relationship we might have imagined is crap.

Along with about 5 others today including Original. They’re gonna have a bigger squad than Chelsea. I hope they go down with that tw@t of a manager.

Given the price tag it seems fairly obvious most thought he was a pile of s***e. Otherwise he would have gone for more.
People always want the big buys. It in reality we are dining at the bottom quartile of the top table. The likes of Lerma, Holding and Henderson are up grades on the players they have replaced in the squad. No idea about the injured kid but our record with the likes of Eze, Olise, Doucoure, Geuhi and Anderson can’t be argued with. So we hope he turns out to be a bargain as well.
It looks like a season where we will struggle against the top clubs but will be competitive with our peers. 12-15 place again me thinks.
