Parrish knows nothing about football. You sack a manager and go back to a manager who you sacked 2 years ago!!! He is a poser more interested on how he looks on MOTD when shown in the stands with his cheerleader Mark Bright.

In all my years of following Palace I have never known our fan base to be so toxic as it is now. Likes of west ham, Everton have spent millions on managers / players to get to the "next level" and look where they are now.....if they were to be relegated they would be in huge trouble! If we were to go down I am positive that Parish has us well run that we would not end up back in administration etc...

I have to say I have been torn as despite not possessing any real insight I have been inclined to believe this sentiment has been prevalent in his running of the club. As far as I know that could be a convenient narrative to construct where the reality is different however does feel to be something slightly more stable in place now. Whether Parish is just a juvenile narcissist, controlling of Palace only to line his own pockets and dine out on the attention or whether he is a benevolent, home grown, true fan of the club is anyone's guess really. I'm inclined to believing it exists in a grey that leans far further towards the latter, without completely excluding elements that could be aligned to the former. Either way, were Parish to depart, I would like to think his legacy would be worthy of praise and appreciation more so than criticism, even if not everything was done perfectly, and certainly comparative to predecessors.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

With that ringing endorsement in the final paragraph I take it that dyou would also see Parish as the man to take us forward in the future? Originally posted by Willo
My dear Den Steve Parish is a very driven, focussed and astute individual, a man of erudition and wisdom and has steered the ship in sometimes pitchy waters with some aplomb.
