Stevie wonder is better at passes than Clyne

We are in this game. For the first time in awhile we look competitive. Having 2 central midfielders makes such a difference.
I can handle losing to a team that cost as much as Utd if it’s showing a bit of grit and fight. Horrendous run of games coming up but I hope Hughes gets a run as I think by the time we get to the must win games in April things will hopefully click.

Doucoure was doing ok up to that point. Clyne is a bit dodgy and Mateta looks out of his depth so far but to be fair he’s not been playing any football. Edouard should be a regular starter. I guess Ayew will be on for Mateta soon. Olise not great either tonight. Still in this game though!

Really good team effort so far. The difference in quality on the ball is so apparent, Hughes doing well to recover the ball and just cannot find a teammate, same with Clyne. Shouldn't be surprised they have much better players than we do.
Hopefully they won't drop heads in the second half like they have done recently at home.

Richards looked good he got pace and times tackles well, passing generally very poor, Mitchel is just not quick or tough enough and is too often caught out of position, Clyne well surely he well passed it and what is Zaha bringing to the game!

For as much as Vieira has deserved some stick of late you can't legislate for players dropping their man at a crucial moment.

Difficult to see how we get back into this.

I think I’d even prefer Ward at right back. I can’t believe I just said that.

Hughes vast improvement on Schlupp.

Clyne excellent, whole team playing like they care at last.

One mistake and a goal down.

Think Mateta should be replaced by Ayew but would keep the rest.

Even if we lose we can't say Palace were lack lustre, if lacking in skills.

Man and boy Palace since my first game in 1948 sitting on my dad's shoulders

Can’t say we are lacking in effort, pleased with our play against a very good in form United. If we had played this team in our previous games am sure we would have gotten something out of those games. Come on Palace !!
