The greatest irony for me is that Vieira was one of his decade's greatest attritional midfielders and played in a number of successful sides, and yet still doesn't impart that know-how into a Palace midfield that truly convinces. We had it last season with CG and so the answer is staring him and the board in the face.

Entirely predictable. When the midfield is ceded then you can't compete. I have doubts over Vieira's tactical ability.

That is it for myself I'm heading to train station and going home another awful game. The manager has no clue and teams like this we are not even competing with it's embarrassment.
