It will be a very different situation for him to deal with at Chelsea and, as we know, the club are impatient for success so he won't be given a great deal of time to bring results.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Potter is a class act and has always spoken highly of Palace, unlike Brighton supporters and a few of their squad and I wish him well. Eh, no he hasn’t. When some morons spat at his side as they left the Selhurst pitch he said it’s what you expect when you visit our ground cos that’s what we’re like.

Official Chelsea have appointed Potter on a 5yr deal. That was bloody quick, Brighton must've got an awful lot of compo for him, who to them then? Benitez?
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

True. Initially one of his biggest challenges will be getting the dressing room on his side. Big clubs have players with big egos. Potter doesn't go in to the role with either a successful playing career behind him, nor any trophies won as a manager/coach.He will quickly have to convince his players that he is worthy of respect.

Putting rivalries aside, I feel very disappointed for Brighton fans. Cannot imagine how any team aspiring to a European place can realistically achieve it without selling out to some loadsamoney benefactor. Trying to do it in a structured way feels impossible when clubs like Chelsea can just buy and success from under.

BHA; couldn’t happen to a nicer club
