My prediction is that for the first time in ages Mane will not score against us. 2-2

To be honest I’m worried about tonight’s game all we have heard in the news is Pool are going to be missing this player and that player and how they have a midfield injury crisis I can see the score being 3.0 or 4.nil Don’t get me wrong . I would love nothing more than Palace go up there and win convincingly but realistically Liverpool have such huge squad depth this is the major factor we lack. Apart from one or two changes I cannot see our lineup being much changed from the Arsenal match. Edited by manwitheagletattoo (15 Aug 2022 8.54am)

The new '5 subs' rule is definitely for the benefit of the rich. Chelsea yesterday subbed on: Gallagher Spuds: Perisic I would be over the moon with us signing 1/4 of those who came on yesterday, let alone started.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Edited by manwitheagletattoo (15 Aug 2022 8.54am) I'm of the opinion that Vieira doesn't know his best 11 starting line up or formation at the moment.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

I'm still amazed at the amount of time it takes for some players to realise the competitive season has actually started. It's almost as if some go into hibernation for the summer and are woken up half an hour before the first game.

Although I loved Brentford using all 5 subs to rest their players against the Manure. If I was a United fan that would have been the ultimate insult.

I feel as though we're due some luck against this lot. Last season home and away we had some god awful decisions go against us in games we could have got something out of! That being said anything else than a comprehensive Liverpool win looks unlikely.

I thought they just gave all spectators a raffle ticket beforehand then picked 5 at random towards the end of the game for a chance to play as a promotional stunt. Either way I don't think it'd of mattered.
