Our ownership seems rubbish, quite frankly. We need someone who wants to flash the cash

I'm aware of that, but that doesn't mean they couldn't afford to buy them. As I understand it, Eagle Football Inc (Textor) owns 40% of Palace. Harris and Blitzer through their holding companies just shy of that say 36%. Parish has approx 20% and Franco c.4%.

So, from what I understand ; 1. The 2010 consortium as a group were not in it for the long haul Clarity that I would like is ; 1. I thought the Harris and Blitzer original £100m investment had been ' ring fenced ' for stadium development - that seems to have dropped off the radar ; 2. If there are indeed any benefits in being part of Textor's Eagle Group.

Perhaps this explains why he is so keen on us taking the new Brazilian 18yo superstar that apparently all the top clubs in Europe want to sign? Or is it a case of him trying to flog an over hyped asset to a bunch of mugs so he can pay the wage bill. I hope I am wrong on all of this but I did warn this type of thing might happen. Interesting seeing Textor pushing a player - Warnock faced it all his life from Directors/Owners telling him whom he WILL get & not get ! Directors are pushing money around clubs in this manner could it be considered as Laundering in some way or Dumping in another ? It’s all about Trading right Just in football a director can own a number of clubs under a number of businesses & his co investors & non execs - Very dirty business going on in the scheme of things Then it will snow ball into a book & a movie / documentary- Footballs house of cards like FIFA & government deals Let’s see Harris Textor Blitzer the there amigos pants down

I think we would be the top of the four, OLs squad is worth less than us, and the money generated in the Premiership per club dwarfs the French league, it seems a good idea on paper, four teams who can swap players between clubs at reduced fees, lets see if it works in real life. Very true, but It's going to be relatively easy certainly compared to Palace to get a Champion's League berth with OL.

Im far from convinced about one person or company, owning a whole load of different football clubs. FIFA should be having a close look at what is developing. It is not allowed at National level and globally the sport is constantly coming closer together. How would it be if Palace come up against Lyonnais in Europe for instance. Definite clash of interest in my opinion. Textor has a 40% share in Palace.

The Saudi PIF got a steal on Newcastle at £300m. Bournemouth cost £120m this year Liverpool is up for grabs at £3.5 billion. I can see more activity at Selhurst before long. Will be interesting to see where Eagle Football Inc. is heading and what develops with the acquisition of Liverpool.
