If there is any truth in this, which I doubt, I can’t see Roma going beyond 15m. One year to go and £130 k per week, might be a good time for both parties. I’m in the sell camp as apart from the last few games he has flattered to deceive and he is a non starter for Ivory Coast behind Pepe who The Arse want to sell.

The prospect of Losing both Wilf and Conor doesn’t fill me with joy. One was our highest goal scorer last season and the other our best player. That puts a lot of pressure on the rest of them.

Zaha deserves to be playing in European games , we will have to develop youngsters with funds like Eze

I hope he stays.

The loss of both him and Gallagher will leave a whopping great hole in our team.

And if he goes for £15-£20 million we have to give 25% of that to Man United under the terms of his return to us.

He is worth more than that to us and has two or three good seasons left.

If we could get £40 million leaving us £30 million up then that changes the equation.

Wilf has been an incredible servant to the club and on so many occasions saved us from games which we would/could have probably lost. Of course he has made errors - we are all human! His temperament is well documented.

However, he has been ultra loyal to us - and should we really deny him the chance of playing in Europe. When his career ends, he does not want too many regrets.

Yes-a huge loss.. but if he goes, he does so with my total respect and thanks!

Perhaps with the squad we have, it is the perfect opportunity to start getting to grips with ‘life without Zaha’

Seems the story is gathering some pace today, although dependent on Roma offloading players to make it happen

If I were him I'd be sorely tempted.

I don't want him to go but better there than another PL team.

This sounds entirely feasible to me. It may just happen.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Would be awful to lose him but he deserves his opportunity to go elsewhere now if we can't pin him down. I too would rather it be Roma than another PL team.

I dont want Wilf to go but if the story gathers pace / substance it would be worth DF knowing if Roma have anyone in their ranks that we would be interested in.

22 goals between Wilf and Connor last season will be extremely difficult to replace. That the two of them were often the engine room of the team is also a worry. I don’t begrudge Wilf if he chooses to go but we will have a massive hole left for Viera to worry about.

Highly unlikely Zaha will go to Roma for a decent fee. Their recent strategy has been to buy cheap. They do have two players who are different class, Pellegrini and Zaniolo, who they may have trouble holding onto. Depends on Mourinho's personality and what the board has promised. They just brought in Matic on a free and signed a young Turkish full back for 7m euros. Hoping for 25/30m for Zaha is fanciful and of course doesn't suit Crystal Palace FC at all.

23 goals between Zaha and Gallagher, good luck trying to replace that, to be honest if we can only get a transfer fee of £20 million, I would rather we kept him and let him leave on a free next season.

He will pay that transfer fee back by keeping us in the Premier league, also giving us time to find a suitable replacement, although that part may be extremely difficult.

Love the bloke and Palace will never be the same again when he eventually does go. Think I may put a shrine in my garden in memory of him, all welcome to visit
