And if it was a vanity project his £1,000,000 PR budget could spin it to his advantage.

It could if it was not another bungling idea!!

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has asked the Met Police for a "detailed explanation" of how it decided who to fine during its investigation into No 10 parties.

The mayor's spokesperson said Mr Khan was concerned a "lack of clarity" was eroding "trust" in the police.

Whether you like Khan or not this is the right thing to do.

Public confidence in the Met is disappearing off the edge.

Irony abounds

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

The sue Gray report is out. Damning as expected. Response is likely to be a 'we must learn lessons,....and not resign'.

The guy has no shame and won't resign.

He's not sorry. Only sorry he got caught

I disengage, I turn the page.

So that's a big deal? Not the fact that he closed down the economy, put thousands out of business, bankrupted the country, locked away pensioners, forced face coverings onto children and coerced millions to take dangerous experimental injections? (some dying in the process). Because that's "building back better" or "levelling up".

Do me a favour.

Boris on good form " Sir Beer Korma's gaseous zeppelin of pomposity ", Boris is still totally untrustworthy but entertaining.

The annoying Blackford is now chirping

Why not both? That he set these rules for others, then failed to adhere to them himself, lied about that and still doesn't give a toss once found out.

Met police faces legal action over ‘irrational’ handling of Partygate.

Former Met chief part of group arguing force failed 'to adequately investigate’ PM’s participation in No 10 gatherings.

Going for judicial review it seems.

I think it's clear that Johnson is not globalist shill enough for the regime and they want to swap him out for another.

I like Blackford- calling bungle a liar-tick, and not withdrawing the comment- respect sir, respect!
