Everton's midfield already looks slow and lacking in dynamism, which would make Luka an odd choice. For whatever reason his decision making is now way off what is needed for the speed of the PL. He still has a good passing range, but that's no good if you need time and space to pick that pass. Maybe a move will address that, but I think he's done as a top flight player. It's a shame as he was probably my favourite player in his first two seasons.

Talk today of Nottingham Forest now entering the race to sign him. This may have all been triggered by reports that Luka has verbally agreed a 3.5mill move back to Olympiacos.

For the teams coming up, signing a couple of players that know how to survive is vital. Luka will provide some experience on and off the field, plus he's a good pen taker. For the overseas interest, he's more then good enough to move to a slower league.
