It’s the way of the world. Stories of people moving next to live music venues and then getting them shut down because of the noise are legion Largely a different logic. That is a form of sandbagging. Buy cheap, force the thing that made it cheap out and then make a big profit. In all of the cases we know of where venues have closed that has been the modus operandi.

Like the people that buy cheaper houses located next to airport runways & then complain about the noise.

At least we will have another couple of years before our crowds increase by 10,000 with the ensuing bun fight of extra numbers trying board the same number of trains and carriages at Selhurst and Norwood Junction.

Well im not sure the total politics of whats gone on as I live in thurrock essex so dont know the issues with Croydon council , but would not be a issue if we was a bigger club for sure , cant blame our owners as they can only give so much money , and if there is a issue with local council then they need to move , BUT WERE , the athletics track and park is no good 1 station 1 road out , move it towards M25 then it needs public transport and drink and food places for fans , the list goes on , myself it wouldnt be the same elsewhere it is our heart and sole were it is , I have alot of west spam around me and they still adjusting to there new home they still say upton park or boleyn so its a hard one for fans to adjust to , but we have to pay were they didnt , so lets hope we can build the ground up and get back to 50k again ,COYP

Yes I was at the Burnley match in 79 but that night I had mates with me who supported Chelsea and Wimbledon. Since then I have often been in sub 15K crowds outside the Prem at SP. Let's be serious, we need a 30K capacity.

Laughable people still think we will redevelop selhurst, no chance of it happening. Unless we are spending about 2 billion redeveloping the surrounding area and creating more social housing for Croydon Council. Said this 8 years ago and some posters said its because we wanted to establish ourselves as a prem team first. 10 years in and not even close. Guarantee no work will start before 2025.

You appear to know more than the club. So even though the S106 is just about done now and planning permission can be refreshed along with compulsory purchase, it still won't happen. All that effort will be wasted. How could the club let that happen? Oh well, you know best

Although i fear it"s because he has been ousted by his own party- and is a loser now- but glad it dropped none the less! You aren"t going to tell us your first team is City are you mate?
