Can't open the link but this word is OK isn't it? Most official forms in the UK allow you call yourself ethnically 'Roma/Gipsy/Irish Traveller'. Or will gipsy go the way of eskimo?

And how many 100s of stories did you have a breakdown about that didn't end up happening? When will Christmas finally be cancelled!? Your contention that this amounts to nothing is more a reflection of your own sentiments than the reality. Apparently if Easter and Christmas haven't been cancelled then there's nothing to see here.

I'm sure there are many more. Boxing is up there amongst the highest requirements for fitness and strength in the world. Where is the medical evidence supporting this theory? Because in my view there are excuses...sorry theory and there is reality. Edited by Stirlingsays (24 Mar 2022 10.47am) My post was about trees…

Well, no - this is literally a story about something which isn't happening. I'd be willing to bet everything I own that Tulse Hill will still be called Tulse Hill this time next year, and the year after and the year after that. The Christmas/Easter examples are relevant because people have been forecasting that nonsense for literally decades, and no matter how many times it doesn't happen, they just keep saying it will. And it's me reflecting my own sentiments rather than reality, apparently.

Pretty disingenuous way of presenting it - the money is not sat there waiting for local councils to rename places, it's a fund with a much broader objective. I'd be interested to know of any examples of councils being paid for changing a name.
