Optimism and pragmatism don’t always go hand in hand I’m afraid. It’s certainly a good opportunity to take it to them but I don’t think we have played well for a whole 90 minutes since Jimmy Mc was injured and we will need to be at 100% to win this.

Olise and Eze are not quite there yet in terms of starting for us, but at least the AFCON forces Viera’s hand to give them some more experience. Olise looks very predictable cutting in on his left when he starts a game, but when he comes on he’s borderline unplayable. I’m sure he will work it out given time, he is still only just turned 20 after all. Vive le Roy!
