Feel this is inevitable Never mind the board or players the fans really don’t like him due to his style of football and media personality.

I understand the rationale behind appointing the experienced Roy Hodgson. Watford were second from bottom when he arrived at the club but there was still about a half a season left.He clearly knew it was a challenge to keep the club in the PL but he would not have accepted the job if he didn't feel he could achieve this objective. It would appear that after 8 games at the helm he is not so confident. I would not be surprised to hear he has departed if Watford lose at Southampton.

Glass half full - 10 games left with some winnable fixtures. Its also probably unrealistic to suggest that another manager change at this late stage will do much better (keep them up) I guess at some point in time the owners will have to accept that this throw of the dice hasn't achieved the desired effect & start to make plans for the next season in the Championship.

for sure, Watford are dogsh1t.
Watford probably gone dead and buried already. But its hard to say with confidence when the teams above you have nothing but red squares on the Form-table.

Watford are not cut adrift. They are only 2 pts behind Burnley (Watford have played an extra game) but Burnley have only collected 1 pt in their last 4 games.Watford are 4 pts behind Leeds with a better goal difference. Results tomorrow of course might result in Watford being in a more perilous position. Edited by Willo (12 Mar 2022 7.20pm)

Shame EPL rules aren't fluid and an ad-hoc increase to five going down this season is implented. There's some real dross down there. And no you Jonahs out there, we wouldn't be one of them. Edited by Slimey Toad (13 Mar 2022 9.30am)

If such a rule existed, i.e sides playing dross football at the bottom of the division can be included in relegated teams but yes this year there would be an increased amount of clubs that would fall under that catchment criteria. Originally posted by Slimey Toad

Great to get 3 points and generally the away form has been good bar Thursday. Unfortunately our last few away games include the top 3 and some team Roy knows well in South London . Have to win some home games - a draw would be a start !! Got: Leeds

Roy Hodgson and Ray Lewington both served our club with distinction, they are vastly experienced and steeped in the knowledge of the game.I wish them well in their endeavours to preserve Watford's PL status.
