The Guardian have been running a poll for “Person if the Year”. J k Rowling was winning hands down, guess what…. the poll has been pulled and has disappeared.

Freedom of speech is a lip service thing, The left don’t really agree with it and the right throw it out to suit their narrative. I don’t say that lightly but this whole JK Rowling thing is an example of that. She has literally said what millions of people probably believe and agree with. Whilst she has the freedom to say that she has now been ostracised and cancelled by huge corporations, lefty newspapers (Guardian), Actors and the like. There has to be some control against incitement against minority groups but this wasn’t that. What would the views of these corporations be, for example, if the silent majority decided to cancel them for their reaction to JK Rowling? I suspect she’d get a few more invites and that, in my opinion, is what is needed. The majority needs to stand up to these morons. Edited by Helmet46 (29 Dec 2021 9.16am)

'Incitement' can be and is regarded as criticism. Yet politicians can publicly call groups 'idiots'....which I regard as their right....and yet they are exempt from the same zeal. They want to cover some mouths but not their own. Edited by Stirlingsays (29 Dec 2021 9.45am)

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it.. |

JK Rowling in the news again today - the story is around the allegedly anti-semitic imagery in the movies with the portrayal of the bank-teller goblins. Starting to sympathise with the idea she's being very harshly treated.

Lack of appeal which saw him achieve the largest increase in vote share of any Labour leader since 1945 - doesn't seem logical. If you can't even acknowledge the media hatchet job, which is probably the most overt I've ever witnessed, there is little point in further exchange on the matter.
