Maybe, but there are still a lot of folk wearing rose tinted specs who would have him here at any price.

I used to be one of those, but his form has definitely fallen off as the season played out. Whether Patrick could deal with that, or would want to, I'm not so sure.

After today, I think I’d buy him ! Best game in a while !!

Yeah, right make a decision based on the last game of the season against a crap United team. He did put himself about well though.

I think we have seen a pretty dramatic drop off from him and the first half of the season might be the best he ever gets. I'd still like him on the team but not at any price. Maybe next January when Chelsea have decided he's no better than RLC

I would love for Chelsea to buy a few superstars from Europe this Summer and then us to swoop in with like a £30/40million bid for both actually.

I'm not sure what's more ridiculous going on here in fairness, the possibility of any of that happening or my pretending I have any idea what it's like operating in the Transfer market as a club owner

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Most likely outcome is Chelsea buy Rice for £60m plus Gallagher.

With CG in the side we win the ball back more often & further up the field than I can ever remember a Palace team doing -

Whereas Palace teams of previous seasons lose the ball, fall back to set up camp on the edge of our box & defend.

How many goals have we scored this season with CG having won the ball back on the halfway line just as the opposition were pouring forwards to attack ?

I think the problem is if Chelsea decide to sell there are probably at least four or five clubs with deeper pockets that would love him (Newcastle, Villa, Everton, West Ham and possibly even United or Liverpool). We can't afford to let three or four players leave and then blow the whole budget on Gallagher. The only possible deal I could see Chelsea doing is one involving Guehi, but would we really want him to leave?

I don't think he is going anywhere this window. Chelsea can have him around for the first half of the season and see if he can work his way into the squad.

Whilst I love him, my gut says he's a great player for a mid-table team. Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Spurs don't have a player like him and I don't think they would want him.

Much in the same way AWB was immense for us, but just doesn't fit into the way Utd want to play

No. Guehi will be Palace and England captain very soon.

Perhaps he needs a rest? He does run around a lot.

Damn right.

No way I'd let him go for anything south of... 1 BILLION dollars mwahaha. Or pounds sterling sorry.
