Palace next 7 league games are:

Burnley Away can be hard place to go but on this form Palace should be winning

Aston Villa (H) should get 3 pts

Leeds Away can be a hard place to go but Palace can win also

UTD Away UTD favourites but Palace can do well VS bigger sides e.g. Man City

Everton (H) hard game when Everton get more of their injured players back but Palace can also win this one.

Southampton (H) can play well have good players like Livramento but this is a game which Palace need to win also.

Watford Away will be fighting under a new manager but Palace on their current form should get job done.

Out of 7 games I think you would not be suprised if Palace won 7/7

But I would take 5 wins and 2 losses or 4 wins and 3 draws.

Need to get 15 points minimum but more is definitely not asking for a lot.

So will we win any of these 7 games?

I thought this thread was the kiss of death when I saw it. Certainly suffering from coming up against a number of new managers. Even Southampton who are clearly struggling will probably have a new manager in place ready for our game.

Watford surely is winnable and hopefully Southampton

Four points from home games against Brentford, Brighton, Newcastle, Leicester and Villa is good reason to be cautious and look at getting to forty points as soon as.

The fickleness of the PL in which teams can go from hero to zero in lightning speed. What McArthur's absence has highlighted is our lack of quality in reserve in the centre of the pitch. Hopefully Eze's return to fitness should help address that though.

With a packed winter schedule and a limited squad we need to win games like the one at Leeds i.e. catching teams when they are struggling. Man Utd is now looking like a big task, whereas a week ago I'd have fancied us. It's sh!t timing given the same happened with Newcastle and Villa.

Short in the midfield - we could give Will Hughes a start, if not, then why buy him?

He's just back from injury. Think it was his back. Might not have 90 in him. In fact not likely to have a full match yet.

Typical Palace would be to win at Manure and lose the other 3

To do that you need forwards that can hold their nerve and score at critical moments in the game and defenders who can defend the final third and penalty area when the opposing throw the kitchen sink at the business end of the game.

I’ve really enjoyed the football but the results against bottom half teams are very sobering. I thought Leeds were crap.

I think we will get two points from the next five games and will hit the halfway point with 18 points.
This would put us in a relegation battle for the second half of the season.
We could of course suddenly start playing again and turn the whole thing on its head but I can't see that based on the last few games.
I hope to be proved completely wrong.

The performances on the whole have been good this season.
Over the last three games the results have not been good and the performances have been patchy.
The earlier very good performances had raised expectations and perhaps these were unrealistic.
However, I think we’ll be ok as long as we don’t panic.
The new way of playing will mean conceding goals through errors and the set piece mistakes are concerning.
I felt a few games ago that Benteke and Edouard were building a promising understanding in terms of reading each other’s game.
Since then it’s been a case of using either/or which is a shame as I think there would be goals in such a partnership , but it may not suit Vieira’s seemingly preferred 4-3-3.
